One of our goals at Negash Smiles is to provide consistent, quality dental care that is affordable. However, the cost of health and dental care continues to increase each year. In an effort to encourage good dental health and alleviate rising dental costs, we have developed an "In-House" Dental Savings Program available to patients who cannot obtain dental insurance or find that our plan costs less than their current dental coverage plan. We always strive to give you the best service despite the ever increasing cost of health and dental care.
Since regular dental insurance programs usually require group participation to get any price reduction, individuals and families seeking dental insurance on their own find it to be prohibitively expensive. Our dental program provides a wide scope of benefits at an affordable price to help minimize the cost of dental needs.
Dental Savings Plan Details
Cost
$450 per year for 1st family member
$425 per year for 2nd family member
$400 per year for 3rd family member
$375 per year for each additional family member
The savings plan includes:
- All necessary X-rays
- Prophy Cleaning (2 per year)
- Fluoride Treatment (2 per year)
- Adult Exam (2 per year)
- 20% off all other dental procedures*

Periodontal Program
Cost
$650 for 1st family member
$600 for each additional family member
The adult periodontal program includes:
- 3 periodontal maintenance (3 per year)
- All necessary X-rays
- Fluoride Treatment (2 per year)
- Adult Exam (2 per year)
- 20% off all other dental procedures*
*Families with children up to 23 years of age may participate in the Family Plan. The adult child must be enrolled as a full-time student. Otherwise, the maximum age for the Child Plan is 18.

What the Dental Savings Plan includes
Diagnostics
- Comprehensive examination for new patient- 100%
- 2 Routine examinations per year- 100%
- 1 set of Bitewing x-rays per year - 100%
- Panoramic X-ray (every five years) - 100%
- 2 Periapical x-rays - 100%
Preventive care
- 2 prophy cleanings per year - 100%
- After the first two cleanings, any additional cleanings in a year are 20% off
- 2 fluoride treatments per year - 100%
- 20% off dental sealants
Other procedures that receive a 20% discount include*:
- Fillings
- Core buildup and crown procedures
- Cosmetic Dentistry including veneers
- Root canal therapy
- Dentures and partials
- Dental implants
- Simple and surgical extractions
- Invisalign* - $500 off
*Benefits covered is effective for participants who remain enrolled in their plan until the completion of treatment. If enrollment expires prior to completion of treatment, no coverage will be available.
Exclusions and Limitations
Our Dental Savings Plan is not an insurance plan, it has been designed to provide a way for our patients to obtain the dental care they need at the most affordable rate. The savings plan:
- This plan is a stand-alone coverage not to be combined with insurance benefits.
- This plan cannot be used in a workman's compensation treatment plan.
- This plan is for use in treatments that lie within our realm of the treating dentist expertise.
- This plan cannot be used for treatment with another dentist or specialist to whom a referral was made by Negash Smiles.
- This plan is NON-Transferable, ie family members.
- This plan is NON-Refundable, no refunds will be granted if a patient chooses not to use their dental plan.
- For orthodontic treatment, participant must remain a plan participant the entire duration of orthodontic treatment
- Rates are subject to change annually.
- Payments for services are due at time of service. If you choose to extend your payment for treatment by paying through CareCredit®, the discount is reduced by 10% due to merchant fees.
There is no ID card, no group or member number to bring! All your membership information will be kept in your electronic record. Your effective date is the day you sign up and your renewal date is the same date every year.
